OUR MENU
You’re probably here looking for a menu before you dine. We like to keep things fresh here at The Drove so our menu changes monthly depending on market availability and seasonal produce. The good news is that our menu is always creative and exciting and full of local produce. We’ve also always got plenty for the vegans and vegetarians in your party. We’ve had hogget from the local small holding down the road, tomatoes, plums and apples grown in the village and birds from the local shoot. Please check our social media for weekly menu updates.

Opening Times
We're now open 7 days a week where we serve our delicious locally sourced monthly menu alongside weekly specials with Roasts available on a Sunday.

Booking and Dogs
It is always advisable to book, especially at the weekends. We are dog friendly in the restaurant but as the dining room isn’t huge we do have to limit the number of dogs per table to 2. On busy nights we may have to limit the number of dogs in the restaurant completely so please let us know if you are bringing a dog as we may not be able to accommodate you. Our upstairs restaurant, which we open as an overflow on weekend evenings, is completely dog free in order to allow diners who don’t like eating with dogs to feel more comfortable so it is important to let us know. We love dogs and have three labradors of our own but unfortunately not all dogs love each other and not everyone loves dogs so we have to spread them out across the restaurant to make sure everyone is comfortable. This can mean that we have to put bookings of 2 on a table for 4 with a large dog which does limit how many covers we can take on a night and while we do want to welcome dogs, we do also have to make the most of busy nights in a hard time to run a pub. We do hope you understand.

Accessibility - we will always do our best to accommodate all our guests so please let us know if you do have additional needs. The entrance to the pub is step free and the door is wide enough to allow wheelchair access but please be aware that as the pub is very old therefore there are some narrow corridors and we do not have dedicated accessible toilet facilities so there is no room for anyone to transfer from a wheelchair etc.

Allergies and Intolerances
We will always do our best to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements you might have as long as we know about it in advance. Please let us know when you book if there is anything we need to know and we will have a menu waiting for you which will details all dishes that are suitable for you. As our menu changes so often the more we know in advance the more we can do to make your visit with us enjoyable. For example, if you have a specific allergy and are also a vegetarian or vegan please let us know that too so that we can accommodate all your needs and give you the widest choice possible.
